It was 5 years ago that certain members of certain excellent costuming clubs decided to do a cross-over at Star Wars Celebration Europe 3.

Today we went back to Elstree Studios in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Lucasfilm!
It’s always nice to get recognition, and that is exactly what happened to me today. Rikki presented me with an extremely limited 501st Legion Imperial Gunnery Corps Challenge Coin.
I am extremely thankful quite frankly chuffed. Thanks very much!
Final flight preparations are in place for deployment to MCM Comic Con Birmingham this weekend.
TI/IN/IC-3493 will be ready to instill a discipline and impose Imperial presence to all that are attending.

TK3493 was looking after a TK and TIE who were deployed to keep order and maintain discipline at London’s Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square.
This was to ensure that ticket releases for The Rise of Skywalker went to Imperial plan.
The annual 501st UK Garrison event was again held at the National Space Centre this weekend, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The recorded temperature was extremely high, but that did not stop the costumes coming out and the audience being impressed.
I took the opportunity to nab a few TIE Fighter Pilots, and Darth Vader himself for a sneaky photoshoot to practice my low light skills, and here’s the results.
And I also managed to get kitted up myself!
TI3493 and IN3493 are in preparations for their deployment on operation Return of the Garrison at the National Space Centre later this month. It’s looking to be an excellent Imperial and Rebel extravaganza!
Make sure to book to avoid disappointment in celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace.
That was a most enjoyable troop with the 501st UK Garrison and R2 Builders.
It was great to see both old and new faces. It was equally as great to get out in IN, IC and TI. Three costumes, sorted!
The Blues Harvest band were fantastic. I couldn’t help but sing along under my helmet and tap a toe in my Knobelbechers.
Next troop with the UK Garrison is Return of the Garrison, again at the National Space Centre. But before that a Cyberman shoot and background cast for a Doctor Who spinoff. Busy, busy!
It’s the 4th of May, so that makes it Star Wars May the Fourth Day!
